Aware of the Golden Triangle?
The cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur together form a fascinating
triangular circuit, a heady combination of tradition, cuisine and culture
that stand for the whole of India. On the one hand, Delhi symbolises
modernity at its best, on the other the rural splendours of the Shekhawati
regions in Rajasthan are simply breathtaking. Delhi abounds in numerous
architectural treasures like the Red Fort, the Jama Msjid, the Lotus
Temple etc. Shopping along the narrow streets of Old Delhi is an
experience in itself. Agra, needless to say, takes great pride in its
pricless treasure the Taj, a glorious and profound symbol of love. Jaipur,
the 'Pink City', is famed for its majestic forts and palaces, bequeathed
by the Maharajas who are still remembered for their valour and gallantry.
